It was the defences that ruled in what was a highly entertaining and competitive match in which neither side deserved to go away empty handed. Chances were few and far between for both sides, Evesham’s Josh Evans battled hard throughout the game to try to gain the advantage, but Badsey defender Stuart Davis was in outstanding form to ensure there was no breakthrough. For Badsey Phil Young went close twice, but the final chance fell to Evesham’s Ollie Burman who shot through a crowded penalty area just 5 minutes from the end only to see the ball cannon back off the post.
