Club Profile Badsey Rangers FC was founded in 1890 by market gardeners of Badsey and the neighbouring hamlet of Aldington. This Worcestershire village club through the years has become one of the best known amateur clubs in the Midlands. During its 112 year history there has of course been lean seasons as well as successful ones and a quick glance at the Honours List will suggest that few football clubs have achieved as much. For the 2006/7 season we have six junior teams and one senior team. The senior team currently play in the Stratford upon Avon Football Alliance League. The Under 9's, under 10's, Under 11's and Under 16's teams play in the local Evesham Ambassador Boys League. The Under 12's, 14's and Under 15's teams play 11 a side games in the Cheltenham Youth League. All teams utilize the training facilities at Badsey Recreation Club. The under 9's, 10's, 11's,12's and 16's teams also play their home games at Badsey Recreation Club. The under 14's,15's and senior teams all play their home games at the 'Rec' at Sands Lane. The committee and managers associated with
the club are dedicated to the development and enjoyment of the players to make the club
respected in junior football. In achieving this also give the players a true purpose,
always with the will to win, but not at all costs. |
